I’ve been getting quite a few questions lately about Facebook advertising as a viable option for affiliate marketers so I wanted to address it and give you guys an idea of how it works, what I like about it, and whether it’s a good place to spend your advertising budget. I just think "Take CTR and move the decimal over 1 spot to the right". IE .2 ctr -> 2 clicks. This gives the formula I can do in my head pretty damn fast and easy, "(CPM price) / (CTR with decimal moved to the right 1) ". I also prefer eCPM because as we all know different ads will have different CTRs AND different EPCs. eCPM captures both of these…

Consumerism has a way of telling us what we want without really knowing who we are. It's safe to assume that most of us want to be healthy, have significant relationships and not carry any debt. But that doesn't mean we all want to have a six-pack, bed as many people as we can or be incredibly wealthy. You would think that those are the ultimate goals for life, according to Madison Avenue. It's just not true. However, upon self-reflection you might discover that you've been more influenced by these…

"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." - William Arthur Ward How often do we gripe about the way things are in the world? How often do we complain about bad things that have happened to us? And how often do we lament that things in our lives should be different? If you are anything like me, the answer is likely to be "way too often." The truth is, we are prone to grumble. It is easy to gravitate towards the things in our lives that we dislike. It…

So I am one of those who just plug in…

I just got back from ASE (Affiliate Summit East) and it was awesome.
